Prince Andrew was just spotted for the first time since his old friend Ghislaine Maxwell, the alleged former madame of the late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, was arrested by the FBI.

This comes as American authorities are saying that they “definitely” want to speak to the royal about his ties to the pair.

The Sun reported that Andrew has been laying low at his home in Windsor since being forced to step down from public life over his links to Epstein.

He had not been seen since Maxwell’s arrest last Thursday until today, when he was photographed in a Range Rover driving near his home with a bodyguard, using a rear exit.

This comes hours after U.S. Attorney General William Barr said that Andrew needs to sit down with the FBI, as his team “definitely” wants to talk to him.

“The department wants to talk to Prince Andrew,” Barr said. “That’s why the Southern District has been making efforts to communicate with him. We’ve made it clear that we’d like to communicate with him.”

Maxwell, who was close friends with Andrew for thirty years, reportedly introduced the royal to Epstein in 1999.

She also allegedly introduced him to Epstein victim Virginia Roberts, who claims she slept with the Andrew when she was underage at 17 years of age.

Andrew has yet to break his silence about Maxwell’s arrest, and he has barely spoken at all since his disastrous interview with the BBC about his friendship with Epstein. After the interview, Andrew released a statement saying that he would have to step down from public life “for the foreseeable future.”

“It has become clear to me over the last few days that the circumstances relating to my former association with Jeffrey Epstein has become a major disruption to my family’s work and the valuable work going on in many organizations and charities that I am proud to support,” Andrew said.

Maxwell is currently in a Brooklyn prison on six charges related to her allegedly grooming young girls for sex with Epstein.

Her next court appearance is set for tomorrow, when prosecutors are likely to argue that she should be held without bail, as they see her as a flight risk due to her powerful international connections.
