Miami, Florida (September 17th, 2020) – Following an overwhelming amount of interest from across the nation, Proud Boys Chairman Enrique Tarrio has decided to move the planned rally in Portland on September 26th @ 12pm to Delta Park(located at 10737 N Union Ct, Portland, OR 97217), in order to accommodate what he describes as a “battalion of patriots” who are ready to exercise their constitutionally protected right to assemble.

“We are grateful for the countless emails, calls, and messages of support we have received since announcing this peaceful gathering. We only expect our numbers to continue to grow over the next week as we prepare to visit Portland to showcase our love for America and Western Values. If you intend on showing up to engage in acts of violence, don’t waste your time or money, please stay home.”

Despite the outpouring of support, the Proud Boys have been inundated with hundreds of threats, which include threats from Antifa and BLM activists, who intend on “firebombing” the gathering with Molotov cocktails, as they have done to police officers and property throughout Downtown Portland over the past 100+ days. Not surprisingly, impotent Mayor Ted Wheeler has failed to quell the violence and has actually supported the violent anarchy, even appearing alongside domestic terrorists as they attempted to firebomb a federal courthouse.

Proud Boys leadership intends on keeping an open line of communication with local and state law enforcement, alerting them to the threats of violence from Antifa and BLM, as well as coordinating with officials to make sure their attendees are allowed to safely exercise their First Amendment rights. Leaked DHS documents recently revealed that Antifa is an organized crime effort, not the loose band of “peaceful protesters” the mainstream media and Democrat politicians have spent years labeling them as.

Given these threats, attendees are encouraged to bring fire extinguishers, protective gear, and first aid kits. These threats against the Proud Boys are being made public as America prays for the innocent Los Angeles police officers gun downed last week, following months of anti-law enforcement rhetoric from Antifa and BLM, which have included calls to systematically murder our brave men and women who risk their lives everyday to keep out streets safe.

“To reiterate, this will be a peaceful gathering where we will exercise our constitutionally protected rights and stand up against the scourge of Domestic Terrorism sweeping across America. Anyone who decides to attack our attendees will be met with legal and lawful forms of self-defense. With Mayor Ted Wheeler having fled Portland to retreat to one of his many million dollar residences, we intend on showcasing the results of his inaction, which has led to the loss of innocent life and the destruction of a once great city.”

Following the peaceful gathering, Proud Boys intend on hosting a BBQ, where you are asked to bring beverages and food. Not only is it important to DEFEND THE WEST, it is also critical that we CELEBRATE WESTERN VALUES and share fellowship with our fellow patriots.
