A few months back, Black Lives Matter protesters decided to set up an autonomous zone that was supposed to be the precursor for the new America without racism. There would be no police force or any organization that helped build the so-called white America. It only took a couple of days before members started harassing police and citizens, yet the utopia remains open and there were no consequences for their actions. But now, a New York City restaurant owner was arrested for doing the exact same thing to keep his business from going under.
Since COVID-19, the Democrats have used the virus as a weapon against the American people. They have used the virus to justify meaningless lockdowns and mask mandates, all while parading around getting haircuts and celebrating Biden’s premature victory. But when you are against the Democrats, there are a different set of rules that apply. That is what restaurant owner Danny Presti is learning now when he defied lockdown orders and labeled his restaurant as an “autonomous zone”.
Believing that he would be treated the same as the protesters in Portland, Oregon when they set up the CHAZ autonomous zone, Presti wasn’t trying to send a message or start a revolution. He was simply trying to keep the lights on and feed his family.
Over the past months, Mac’s Public House has defied orders from New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio. While both men continue to use fear tactics to keep citizens at bay, Presti allowed people to continue to eat at his business in exchange for donations. This allowed him to keep his doors open and not violate any of the rules set by the state government.
There is just one small problem – Presti is defying the Democrats and for that, he was arrested, and the sheriff’s office even raided his place of business. Activist Scott LoBaido was present for the ordeal and points out the “selective enforcement” that was being used by law enforcement against an American citizen just trying to keep the American Dream alive and his lights on.
