Since the banning of President Trump from social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, conservatives around America have warned of Big Tech Censorship. While the left remains to celebrate the fact that Donald Trump was banned, insiders have already started to let it slip of the global censorship that is threatening freedom of speech. Most recently, a former Facebook official told reporters that not only is Big Tech looking to censor the “radical right” but television providers should also deplatform the movement as well.

It should come as no surprise that the segment aired on CNN, but it is a shocking revelation how open the left is at censoring conservatives. The former chief of security at Facebook, Alex Stamos, seemed to bask in the idea of telecommunications giants like Verizon and AT&T muting the voice of the people.

Stamos told CNN, “We have to turn down the capability of these conservative influencers to reach these huge audiences. They are extremely radical, and pushing extremely radical views,” Stamos claimed.

“It is up to the Facebooks and YouTubes, in particular, to think about whether or not they want to be effectively cable networks for disinformation.”

“And then we have to figure out the OANN and Newsmax problem that these companies have freedom of speech, but I’m not sure we need Verizon, AT&T, Comcast, and such to be bringing them into tens of millions of homes. This is allowing people to seek out information if they really want to, but not pushing it into their faces I think is really where we’re going to have to go here.”

While surprising, the interview didn’t stop there when Stamos attacked conservative networks like Newsmax and OAN. Stamos said, “One of the places you can see this is on the fact that you now have competitors to Fox News on their right, OANN and Newsmax, which are carried by all the major cable networks, who are trying now to outflank Fox [News] on the right because the moment Fox introduced any kind of realism into their reporting, immediately a bunch of people chose to put themselves into a sealed ecosystem. They can do that both on cable. They can do it online, and that becomes a huge challenge in figuring out how do you bring people back into the mainstream of fact-based reporting and try to get us back into the same consensual reality.”

Again, this is what the liberal left and the Democrats want to do. They want to silence any person that either backed Donald Trump or the GOP. But what is more interesting is how Stamos never mentioned censoring any of the extreme liberal sites that have called for riots, looting, and even overthrowing the government over the past couple of months. But as mentioned before, it is only a matter of time.
