In January, 2021 a group of members with the Black Panther went into Jade’s Nails, an Asian Nail Salon in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with the purpose of intimidating employees. It has recently been learned that the nail salon has closed for good.

The group had gone into the nail salon accusing an employee of disrespecting Black Lives Matter and a Black woman.

The video that captured the incident has been making it’s way all over social media, but has been gaining very little attention from mainstream media despite the movement condemning any hatred towards Asians. The video was traced back to the Facebook account of Darryl King Rick Farmer II’ by Wisconsin Right Now.

Wisconsin Right Now went to the nail salon and reported the following:

“On April 4, we went to the nail salon’s location at 1422 E. Brady St. We found that the nail salon is now out of business. In fact, its sign is gone and the building is completely empty. Its phone number is now disconnected.”

The Black Panther’s King Rick claimed that the nail salon was shutdown for good following the threats made by himself and the rest of his crew. King Rick published what he considered a victory for himself and his crew on Facebook.

“The Original Black Panthers and the biggest Panther in the jungle, King Rick!! We are proud to announce the permanent closing of Jade’s Nails on Brady St.!! Due to the efforts of the OBP and community they no longer exist!! They disrespected our queens and paid the ultimate price!! Out of business!! Black Panther power once again in full effect!” – Facebook Post from ‘King Rick’

No one who worked at the salon has been able to be contacted to see why the business shutdown.

The post by King Rick was put up on January 17, 2021 which was supposedly 15 days after the Black Panthers had gone to the Salon on January
