Although the Democrats and media are working around the clock to make it appear voters are in love with sleepy Joe Bidden, the truth is – Americans, and even liberals, are flocking from blue states for the freedom and convenience of more conservative leadership. And where better to go than the home of Republican frontrunner and Governor, Ron DeSantis.

On Wednesday, Gov. DeSantis participated in a town hall event hosted by Fox News’s Sean Hannity and featuring numerous top Republican governors. During the meeting, DeSantis announced that Florida has seen a huge influx of voters moving from liberal states. Not only are they abandoning their homes, but according to DeSantis, they are also switching their political party due to the lockdowns and mandates that have crippled other states.

Among the other speakers were governors from Iowa, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Arizona, and Tennessee. Along with DeSantis, the governors agreed that their states have also seen a surge in migration patterns. But while Republicans are more than happy to welcome new citizens, Sean Hannity asked, “Florida is seeing a huge impact of migration out of the — out of these blue states. Now, my only fear for all of you — and I’ll let you start first, Gov. DeSantis — is that they may bring their liberal policies with them.”

Pondering on the question for a moment, DeSantis responded, “So, it’s interesting with Florida. Like the media at the beginning of [the pandemic] said Florida’s bad. And I think it’s because they want to damage [former President Donald] Trump in Florida. They want to damage me. So, they just kept saying it was bad. And even though the facts didn’t say it, like literally last April, they’re saying Florida is doing worse than New York. New York was like 10 times worse.”

DeSantis didn’t stop there as he praised American citizens for not buying into the phony narrative being pushed by the liberal media. “I think what it did is the people that buy those phony narratives for these media, they probably aren’t coming to Florida. But most people see through it. But the people that see through it, they think like us. And so, I think a lot of these people are coming. I think they are registering as Republicans overwhelmingly.”

While DeSantis continues to push against the liberal COVID-19 agenda, he couldn’t help but admit that the Democrats are doing more to damage their own party than the Republicans could have ever done. He said, “I think this whole process has caused some people to reevaluate some of their prior commitments. And if you have a political party that puts the interest of teachers’ unions over the interest of kids being able to just access an education at all, that tells you all you need to know about the modern Democrat Party.”
