During a House hearing today about the January 6th Capitol riot, Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) questioned former acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen about the death of Ashli Babbitt. Babbitt was shot and killed by an unidentified U.S. Capitol Police Lieutenant. She was unarmed and climbing through a door to a hallway inside the Capitol.
The Biden DOJ has decided not to charge the USCP officer who shot her. Federal prosecutors said there was “insufficient evidence to support a criminal prosecution.”
Rep. Gosar later took to Twitter and asked, “The people have a right to know: who executed an unarmed 100lb woman at point blank range with no warnings, no commands or non-lethal force?”
