Although the Democrats and President Joe Biden aren’t willing to talk about it openly, the war in Afghanistan is appearing to be a failure as the Taliban has retaken the country with little to no resistance. With videos surfacing and people pleading for help, there are even sources claiming that thousands of Americans are stuck in the country, trying to get out before the Taliban finds them. And the Biden Administration appears clueless as they recently sent out a message telling those helpless Americans that they can’t guarantee their safety.

With Biden only taking the time to somehow place the blame on former President Donald Trump, many Americans are wondering about the citizens left behind. The Taliban has already been filmed claiming death to America and its citizens. Still, the best response the Biden Administration could do was the following message. 

“To American Citizens,

Thank you for registering your request to be evacuated from Afghanistan. The U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan has confirmed that an undefined number of U.S. govern1nentprovided fligl1ts will begin soon. Please make your way to Hamid Karzai International Airport at this time.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT CANNOT GUARANTEE YOUR SECURITY AS YOU MAKE THIS TRIP.”

Having little details to spread, even a spokesperson for the Biden Administration’s State Department told CNN that people should take shelter. “The US message to Americans in Afghanistan right now is to shelter in place until they get communications from the US embassy which tell them when they should come to the airport and where exactly to go.”

Seeing how helpless thousands of Americans are at the hands of the Taliban, Sara Cook tweeted how a congressional aide told reporters there are close to 15,000 citizens needing evacuating. The tweet reads, “A congressional aide tells @CBSNews we have no partners left in Afghanistan to safely get Americans in-country to Kabul. There are 10-15k AmCits who still need to get out, and that obviously doesn’t include the tens of thousands of SIVs or P2 applicants trying to get out of Afg.”
