STARRS Calls On Veterans To Retake Oaths On November 11 – Fights Against Radicalism In Military

The group Stand Together Against Racism and Radicalism in the Services (STARRS) is calling on veterans to retake their oath on November 11 as it continues to fight against radical politicization in the U.S. military.

Find out more about STARRS and what they are fighting against by checking out this Air Force Academy convocation video here. [1]

STARRS was started after some military-affiliated individuals saw a disturbing three-minute United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) football team coaches’ video [2] promoting Black Lives Matter (BLM).

“The video was naïve and an unintended endorsement of a Marxist political organization, Black Lives Matter, and we discovered the invasion of this poisonous neo-Marxist ideology was occurring across the Services,” explained Rod Bishop, Lt Gen, USAF (Ret), STARRS Board of Directors Chairman & President, according to EIN News [3].

Bishop went on to explain that radical liberal “wokeism” has infiltrated both the military and service academies.

“STARRS recognizes that America is battling an enemy that has infiltrated our military and our service academies,” Bishop added. “As former service members and American patriots, our oath to defend the Constitution has no expiration date—that’s why we’re leading the fight to eradicate racism and radicalism from our armed forces.”

STARRS has teamed up with military armed services to try and fight back against this woke radicalism.

“We are addressing issues to promote unity, not division,” Bishop said. “STARRS seeks to educate military leaders, the men and women that serve, and the American people of the dangers of the conjoined, anti-American ideology of neo-Marxism and Critical Race Theory.”

“We envision service academies and armed forces that shall always faithfully serve the American people while remaining apolitical, colorblind and unified,” he added.

STARRS is planning an event called “Orbit Shot” in Colorado Springs on Veterans Day this coming Thursday. The plan is to encourage veterans to retake their oaths for a very special reason. Veterans can reaffirm their oath here [4].

“We want to motivate veterans to remember and re-commit to their oath to ‘support and defend’ the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” Bishop said.

This isn’t the only upcoming event that STARRS has planned. On January 15, STARRS is going to be celebrating the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. with another Colorado Springs event acknowledging U.S. military contributions in promoting unity and cohesion.

The fact that radically liberal wokeism has infiltrated the United States’ military is now a matter of national security, as it is weakening the men and women who are supposed to protect our great nation from enemies. We applaud STARRS [5] for continuing to fight this good fight, as the work that they are doing is more important now than ever before.
