It has just been revealed that Jill Biden screamed at medics after her husband Joe Biden suffered a brain aneurism in 1988 at the age of 45.

Daily Mail reported that Joe had been ignoring warning signs for weeks at the time, and was taking 10 Tylenol pills a day to deal with his headaches. He was eventually rushed to the hospital for a bulging artery that supplied blood to the right side of the brain, which could have led to a stroke.

Doctors were so concerned by Joe’s condition that they called for a priest to give sacrament to him, and Jill was told not to go into the room while it was done. However, Jill was not having any of it, and she burst into the room screaming “Get out! Get out! My husband is not going to die!”

This was revealed in the new book “Jill: A Biography of the First Lady” by Julie Pace and Darlene Superville, executive editor and White House correspondent for the Associated Press. The aneurism occurred just after the first time Joe ran for president, when he was a U.S. Senator for Delaware. The failed campaign took a toll on Joe, and Jill knew that he had been “ignoring his health for months.”

Jill rushed to her husband’s side after he was rushed to the hospital, but she had to leave at some point to make calls to try and find the location of his son Hunter. When she returned, Joe’s condition had changed dramatically.

“She walked down the hallway to Joe’s room, where a nurse sat at a table outside the door doing charts,” the book states. “‘Wait, wait’, the nurse said. ‘Don’t go in there.'”

“‘What do you mean: ‘Don’t go in there’ Jill asked. ‘My husband is in there,'” it continued. “‘I know, I know,’ the nurse said. ‘But they’re giving him last rites.’ ‘What? He’s not gonna die.'”

It was then that Jill allegedly burst in and screamed at the medics. The book alleges that during his recovery, Joe’s appearance was “jarring,” as he looked “frail” and had a large scar on his head. Joe’s even admitted that he nearly died, calling this incident a “second chance” at life.

At 79 years of age, Joe is now the oldest president in history, and his cognitive abilities are frequently called into question. It remains to be seen whether or not he’ll run for reelection in 2024.
