Joy Behar Claims Economy Is Better Under Democrats – ‘The View’ Credits Obama With Trump’s Economic Success

During Wednesday’s episode of the ABC talk show “The View,” the radically liberal co-host Joy Behar showed the world just how out of touch with reality she is when she credited Barack Obama for Donald Trump’s “soaring” economy.

It all started when co-host Sunny Hostin claimed that the Supreme Court’s potential overturn of Roe V. Wade could be a “a losable issue” for Republicans and that there would be “repercussions” for the GOP in the upcoming midterm election. Trump’s former White House Communications Director Alyssa Farah Griffin, who was co-hosting the talk show today, disagreed, arguing that Americans are more concerned about the economy and inflation.

This didn’t sit well with Behar, who proceeded to nonsensically go off.

“Do people out there really believe that the Republicans are going to make it all better? I mean, that is a pipe dream,” Behar said. “Every time … a Democrat is in office, the deficit goes down, the economy flourishes, and then a Republican comes in and destroys it all. And then the next Democrat has to come in and sweep it up and clean it up.”

Griffin fired back by pointing out that before the COVID-19 pandemic, the economy was “soaring” under Trump.

“Because we had President Barack Obama!” Hostin bizarrely screamed, somehow giving Obama credit for the successful economy when Trump was in office.

“We got the Affordable Care Act, we got stuff done,” she added.

When co-host Sara Haines argued that Biden needs to focus more on the economy because many Americans are living “paycheck to paycheck,” her co-host Whoopi Goldberg shut her down.

“I want to point out one thing that I think is important. Biden is the guy who said, ‘Listen, we need to give people more money, because what we’re giving them is not enough,'” she said. “He was fighting and fighting, but he managed to get it done.”

Fox News [5] reported that Goldberg seems to be referring to Biden’s $1.9 trillion American Recovery Plan, which many economists say have led to inflation.

“He’s aware, and has always been aware, of what’s been going on,” Goldberg said. “But he’s in a room with loose boards. He takes a step over here, he gets hit by the one. He takes a step over here, he gets hit by gas going up. And it’s not on him.”

It should be noted that last month, inflation hit a forty year high of 8.3%, and gas prices hit an all-time high of a national average of $4.374 on Tuesday. Despite what the hens on “The View” say, much of this can be blamed on Biden.
