Yesterday, we reported that Melania Trump had lashed out at Vogue Magazine for not putting her on the cover as they traditionally do for First Ladies. On this morning’s episode of the ABC talk show “The View,” co-host Joy Behar fired back by taking below-the-belt pot shots at the wife of Donald Trump.

Fox News reported that in an interview over the weekend, Melania called out the media for being “biased,” saying that it was “so obvious” that they are very left-leaning.

“I had much more important things to do, and I did in the White House, than being on the cover of Vogue,”  she added.

“What did she do?” Behar began. “She turned that beautiful Rose Garden into a cemetery. That’s one thing she did. What did she do exactly? Honestly, I don’t care what she does. I really don’t care. Do you?”

Guest host Stephanie Grisham, who previously worked for Melania in the White House, tried to defend her when co-host Sara Haines sarcastically asked if she was “busy” as First Lady.

“You know what, she was first and foremost a mother, and she was a good mother and prioritized her son first. I will say that, and her initiatives were important to her,” Grisham said.

“What are the initiatives?” Behar asked, at which time her co-host chimed in to mention Melania’s children-focused initiative “Be Best.”

“Online safety, opioids, and um, just helping children with emotional intelligence, et cetera,” Grisham said, adding that she feels that Melania should have been given the cover.

“We’ve seen a lot of photographs online, though,” Behar quipped in response, likely referring to Melania’s nude photos from her modeling days that have circulated online.

As the crowd burst out laughing, Grisham continued to defend Melania.

“Again, I know it’s easy to take potshots at her, and trust me, I would like to as well, but I think for this topic, there was bias there,” she said. “But I will also say when Vogue came to us and asked if she would do a shoot, she would only do a shoot if she could be on the cover.”

Whoopi Goldberg chimed in to say that it’s up to the magazine who appears on the cover.

“She’s a model and she knows how this works,” she said.

“She expected to be on the cover but rightfully so, she had seen all the other First Ladies on the cover, so I do get that,” Grisham fired back.

Sunny Hostin claim that Vogue did not put Melania on the cover as a business decision, alleging that her husband was a “very unpopular president.”

However, it should be noted that Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour is a major Democratic donor who was a huge fan of Hillary Clinton’s during the 2016 election. Despite what the women of “The View” said, it seems this was political all along.

Go figure.
