Trump Torches Mitch McConnell – ‘Old Broken Down Crow’

Former President Donald Trump lashed out at Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell during a Pennsylvania rally on Friday, repeatedly referring to him as “an old broken down crow.”

“Mitch McConnell is the least popular politician in the country,” Trump said, according to Yahoo News [1].

Trump went on to say that he had to hold himself back from calling McConnell something even ruder.

“I want to be nice, I had that word right there, but I couldn’t though,” Trump said, adding that his wife Melania would have had a problem with him using a curse word.

“I’d go home, and the first lady would say, ‘why did you use that foul language, darling? I love you so much, but why did you use it?'” Trump said.

Trump then came close to using a curse word once again, saying, “He’s an old broken down piece of… crow.”

This is far from the first time that Trump has publicly attacked McConnell. During a Republican National Committee gathering last year, Trump referred to McConnell as a “dumb son of a bitch,”

After the Capitol riot that took place on January 6, 2021, McConnell said that he felt “exhilarated” that Trump had “totally discredited himself.”

“He put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger,” he said of Trump. “Couldn’t have happened at a better time.”

During this same rally on Friday, Trump called out Pennsylvania Republican Senate contender David McCormick for his ties to both McConnell and China.

“David is totally controlled,” Trump said, according to MSN [2]. “This is the opponent backed by Mitch McConnell, the old crow, the old broken-down crow. Mitch McConnell is the least popular politician in the country. David came out very strongly against me on numerous occasions. This was before he was going to run, and then all of a sudden he said, ‘Boy, I like this guy a lot.'”

Trump then threw his support behind Dr. Mehmet Oz, the television celebrity who is currently in a tight race with McCormick, praising him for his “enormously successful” career.

“He’s on that screen,” Trump said. “He’s in the bedrooms of all those women telling them good and bad, and they love him. He came into a place where there were a lot of women sitting there for something unrelated. They started going crazy: ‘Is that Dr. Oz?'”

“[McCormick] will quickly fold to the fake news, and he’s going to fold immediately to the radical left Democrats. That’s the way he is, and that’s the way he will be,” he continued. “Oz will never do that. He will fight till the end, and he will always have your back.”
