Madisonville, Louisiana. State Representative Paul Hollis, R-Mandeville, announced his endorsement of retired Colonel Rob Maness for the House of Representatives District 77 seat set to be filled in a special election on October 14th.
Hollis said the following; "Col. Maness is a 32-year decorated combat veteran whose story of service is incredible – from commanding the 6th largest Air Force base in the world, to rushing back into the burning embers of the Pentagon to search for colleagues on September 11th, Rob has faced down challenges tougher than elected office!
Louisiana is in desperate need of experienced, proven, successful, and principled leaders committed to protecting individual liberty, limiting government, and keeping us safe. I have worked with Colonel Rob Maness in the legislative process stopping tax increases, improving transportation infrastructure, and even in my effort to prevent the unnecessary Causeway Bridge toll increases. I give him my strongest endorsement for the House District 77 State Representative seat and look forward to working with him as a colleague in the next session of the Louisiana Legislature!"
Maness said "I am proud to accept the endorsement of Representative Paul Hollis. I have worked with Rep. Hollis on many key issues and am honored by his support. Representative Hollis' kind words are humbling."
