The Israel Hamas war is paused to allow release of hostages from Gaza. Israel prepares for continued offensive operations and says they will resume after the pause to achieve their goal of eliminating the Hamas threat. Iranian militia forces continue attacking US bases and from Yemen trying to capture ships related to Israel plus have now fired medium range ballistic missiles at US warships operating to prevent them after they captured some Houthi terrorists who attempted the latest hijacking. Meanwhile Russian forces in Ukraine are conducting offensive operations along the lines of control and making gains. Finally, it doesn’t look like anything that happened at the recent APEC conference in San Francisco established any kind of deterrence of the Chinese Communist Party’s goal to re-unify Taiwan with the mainland, even by force if necessary.
