Wolf Blitzer turned to the giant video board to declare Joe Biden as the winner, only for Sanders’s image to appear.
“Bernie Sanders, not, not, not happening right now. Joe Biden, Joe Biden is the winner of the Mississippi primary,” he said.
“There we have it, you can see it—maybe you can’t…”
The image flickered to the countdown clock, which showed zeroes, then the whole things ultimately went black.
“But the most important thing is Joe Biden is the winner.”
Biden’s image eventually appeared.
According to the AP, Biden won Mississippi earned a “decisive win”.
