I know many of us have been snickering at the hypocrisy of the leftists in CHAZ CHOP and how they implemented much of what they called a “racist Trump agenda” – check points, ID checks, border wall and other things.
Looks like now they’re also selling guns with absolutely no background checks or getting proof that their customers are 18 or older.
Redstate reported on a video of rapper Raz handing out a gun from the back of his vehicle to a kid in CHAZ CHOP.
Guess Raz didn’t know about Democratic Seattle Mayor Durkan’s May 30th unconstitutional emergency order forbidding all weapons in the area. But don’t worry, it doesn’t look like Durkan is actually going to enforce the order in CHAZ CHOP.
Durkan’s spokesperson said, “There have been individuals with weapons – open carry is legal in Washington State. While the CHAZ is within the area of the City currently under a weapons ban, the emergency order establishing the weapons ban does not mandate enforcement. It gives officers the option to take certain actions (i.e. confiscate weapons) if they deem it necessary.”
Okay, I stand corrected. The Mayor and the police officers can decide who gets 2nd amendment rights and CHAZ CHOP appears to be in good standing.
