We’ve reported on how Senator Bernie Sanders is being considered for Secretary of Labor, Senator Elizabeth Warren for Treasury, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for EPA, and various other hard leftists for the thousands of executive branch slots Biden may get to fill if he wins. It’s as if the other side won the Cold War.

The latest news is that Ron Klain, left wing DC player and Biden vet, will be White House Chief of Staff if Biden takes the prize. The hard left is happy about Klain’s potential appointment as the White House gatekeeper. But that is not the last bill they will present for payment.

DC word on the street is that members of the Democratic Socialists of America, including many members of the Communist Party USA who are members of both organizations, have been asked en masse to send in their resumes to the Biden transition team.

Oh no, some will cry! He’s a McCarthyite! Shades of HUAC! Well now, weirdly enough, after Tailgunner Joe made his claims, many specious, it turned out that very high Democrat officials, like Alger Hiss and Nathan Silvermaster, were actual communist spies. Joe McCarthy may have cast his net too wide at times, but he was fishing in the right waters. It’s funny, those leftists who always cry fascist at anything or anybody who disagrees with them always miss the real classic red fascists sitting right next to them.

In fact, they are already inside the Biden team.

Pentagon E Ring scuttlebutt says that the emphasis in promotions in the military will now be on demographics, not merit. Also, combat and intelligence officers need not apply, as they have “the wrong attitudes” towards Biden. Air Force and Navy will be riding high in Pentagon councils. Army less so, and the Marines will be shut out unless Biden convinces Mattis to return as Secretary of Defense.

The influx of hard leftists will have an affect on the city as well. Already divided by ideology and thus socially, Republicans and conservatives culturally defend southeastern DC, around the Navy Yard and Nats Stadium. Venture other places, like U street, looking like an adult or a sane person, and you will not be welcome. Except for hotel bars, always good. Pro tip? The lobby bar at the Cap Hilton at 16th and K. It’s Switzerland, neutral social territory. That’s why the press drinks there. You can always get some happy hour commando to spill their staffer guts for about 3 gin and tonics. As long as, that is, you never use their names.

So watch for upcoming major appointments. Especially in law enforcement and intelligence agencies, where the Left wants to collect for supporting Biden. They suspect it’ll only be for a bit. Then they’ll be perfectly happy with President Harris.
