Once again, Mr. Trump is acquitted in spite of seven Republican Senators voting to convict in the clearly unconstitutional proceeding the left and establishment Republicans called a “Trial” that didn’t have the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court presiding, but one of the jurors.
Sadly, even Senator Bill Cassidy, a Republican from Louisiana that I ran against in 2014, the first time he was elected to the Senate, voted to convict. Many accused me of lying about Cassidy, who was a lifelong Democrat and large donor to our Democrat opponent, Senator Mary Landrieu. His vote to convict is heartbreaking for Louisiana because they now have a Senator that doesn’t believe in American values like they do:
For the Record, my Republican opponent for the U.S. Senate in 2014, @SenBillCassidy voted to convict. I am saddened and heartbroken that #Louisiana has a Senator that doesn't believe in these basic American values. #lalege #Lagov /end

Even more frustrating, Senator Mitch McConnell, Republican Leader in the Senate, took the floor to excoriate Mr. Trump and us, the #MAGA voters, in an attempt to end his role and our movement in the Republican party:
And now @LeaderMcConnell is trying inflict the final coup de gras against @realDonaldTrump on behalf of the @GOP establishment even after acquittal. Only vote #MAGA folks https://t.co/405PRh4haM

But they won’t win. #MAGA voters now know, and so does every American, that the establishment GOP is only a wing of what we call the uni-party in Washington DC’s swamp. I first used the phrase “Drain the Swamp” in my campaign against the uni-party candidate, former Democrat Bill Cassidy, in 2014, and will continue to oppose the swamp for the rest of my life, as will President Trump I’m sure.
It is time we stand tall. I left the Republican party over a year ago for principled reasons but will return to it now and fight like hell to elect MAGA candidates only. Our country deserves our efforts and its existence depends on it.
