Burbank, CA - Leaked documents show that the Walt Disney Company is now requiring employees to go through a diversity and inclusion training program called, “Reimagine Tomorrow." The training has a variety of sessions including topics such as systemic racism, white privilege, white fragility, white saviors and many others.
The documents were provided to City Journal’s Christopher F. Rufo from a whistleblower and numerous employees have spoken anonymously about the new training. The program focus on the United States having a long history of racism and transphobia and employees should, “work through feelings of guilt, shame, and defensiveness to understand what is beneath them and what needs to be healed.” Employees need to be empathetic to black colleagues and not question or debate their experience.

Employees are even asked to fill out a white privilege checklist:
“Participants then learn about their ‘white privilege’ and are asked to fill out a white privilege ‘checklist,’ with options including: ‘I am white,’ ‘I am heterosexual,’ ‘;I am a man,'[ ‘I still identity as the gender I was born in,’ ‘I have never been raped,’ ‘I don’t rely on public transportation,’ and ‘I have never been called a terrorist.’”
“Finally, at the conclusion of the 21-day challenge, participants are told that they must learn how to ‘pivot’ from ‘white dominant culture’ to ‘something different.’ … Competition, power hoarding, comfort with predominantly white leadership, individualism, timeliness, and comprehensiveness are white dominant values that perpetuate white supremacy culture—and must be rejected,” - Christopher Rufo
Employees are also encouraged to support defunding the police and make donations to Black Lives Matter. On a daily basis Disney employees receive memos on suggested readings, seminars and panels that all focus on antiracism. Employees have stated that the culture has dramatically changed and the work environment has become focused on critical race theory. Disney has literally created an entire training based around the idea that white people need to change who they are and that the color of their skin is something to be ashamed of.
