Chicago, IL – Expressway shootings in Mayor Lightfoot’s city are up over 100 percent compared to the same time last year. As of May 19, there have been 79 expressway shootings compared to 36 expressway shootings during the same time period last year. An additional expressway shooting occurred on May 21, resulting in a 39 year old man being shot in the head and rushed to the hospital.
The growing murder rate in Chicago is less of a priority for the Mayor there than separating journalists based on ethnicity for access to ask questions affecting the day to day lives of chicagoans (including the murder rate). Time to resign, Lori Lightfoot

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is more worried about the color of a reporter's skin than the 13 people shot and 3 killed in her city yesterday.
