Last week, Texas Democrats made the news when they decided to flee their state instead of voting on a bill that would ultimately strengthen the election process. Of course, the left claims the new laws would somehow make it harder for citizens to vote, so instead of doing their duty, 55 Democratic lawmakers chartered a private plane, using your tax dollars, and jetted to Washington, D.C. Hailed as justice warriors, the White House opened its arms to the lawmakers, allowing them to meet with high ranking officials like Vice President Kamala Harris. But their holiday was cut short when six members of the fully vaccinated group tested positive for COVID-19. Now, with Harris’s health being kept a secret, it appears the White House is doing its best to steer away from admitting negligence on their behalf.

As you can see in the picture below, the lawmakers are all smiles as they neglect their jobs and instead vacation to the White House. More importantly, not a single person on the plane is wearing a mask. This is shocking when average citizens are forced to comply with mask mandates on every major airline. Numerous videos have gone viral of people being kicked off flights for not obeying the rules.

With more than 10% of the Texas Democrats testing positive, Fox News’ Peter Doocy questioned Press Secretary Jen Psaki about their meeting and if it is being classified as a super-spreader event. Not surprisingly, Psaki dodged the term, saying “That is not a characterization we’re making here. Vaccines are not foolproof. We know vaccines – I think these individuals have been vaccinated. That is a good sign.”

Although the White House might not want to admit it, Dr. Marc Siegel said the term super-spreader was exactly the term to use. Speaking to Fox News, Siegel said, “A lot of people didn’t get sick because they were vaccinated. This is a super-spreader event with less spread because of the vaccine – that’s the glass half full. They’re creating divisiveness by refusing to acknowledge a medical reality.”

Siegel went on to explain that the recklessness from the Democrats shouldn’t cloud people’s judgment when it comes to the vaccine. “I want people to understand this doesn’t shed a shadow on the vaccine. The numbers are consistent. The only variability here is how much virus you have in your nose – the more virus, the more you could be a super-spreader.”

While not blaming the vaccine for the spread of the virus, Siegel did point out that being on a plane maskless, and meeting with top White House officials – maskless, was not only reckless but sent mixed messages to the American people.
