According to reports, Reps. Twitter censored Jim Banks and Marjorie Taylor Greene for pointing out that Biden’s assistant health secretary in the HHS, Rachel Levine, is biologically male.
The tweets, and subsequent censoring of the House members, stemmed from the widely spread headlines that have claimed that Levine is the “first female four-star admiral” of the Public Health Service.

In an October 19th press release from the HHS, Levine was referred to as being the first female four-star admiral to lead the Public Health Service Commissioned Corps:
“Admiral Levine now serves as the highest-ranking official in the USPHS Commissioned Corps and its first-ever female four-star admiral. Admiral Levine will lead 6,000 Public Health Service officers who are dedicated to serving our nation’s most underserved and vulnerable populations.”
Levine, who is a biological male who was once married and fathered two children, has been getting quite the spotlight since being confirmed by the Senate this past March – with no shortage of headlines promoting Levine as either being the first transgender to accomplish “X” or simply being referred to as the first woman.
One must keep in mind that at the end of the day, Levine is an overweight biological male who believes he’s a woman – who now holds a prominent position regarding national health.
On October 19th, Rep. Jim Banks pointed out the obvious on Twitter and was subsequently locked out of his account for simply sharing the following:
“The title of first female four-star officer gets taken by a man.”

The following day, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was hit with a similar violation after she tweeted the following:
“A dude who lived the first 50 years of his life as a man isn’t the first female anything. China is laughing at us.”

Twitter decided to leave Rep. Greene’s tweet up on the platform but disabled the ability to either like or comment on the post. The reason why Rep. Greene’s tweet was left up is due to Twitter’s policy regarding public figures who “represents a current or potential member of a local, state, national, or supra-national governmental or legislative body.”
It’s unclear as to why Rep. Banks’ Twitter account was suspended, considering he falls under the same category of public figures.
Levine has managed to court controversy over his endorsement of puberty blockers for juveniles enduring gender dysphoria, having shared a CNN report on Twitter this past January that claimed a study showed a correlation between declined suicide rates and usage of puberty blockers with teenagers.
A new study has found that #Transgender youth with access to a puberty blocker have decline in chances of suicide + #mentalhealth problems now and in the future. This study is important because it's the first to show this specific association. https://t.co/axYncR0m4l

Biological sex, most sensible people agree, is an unchangeable state, regardless of surgery or pharmacological therapy. Reps. Banks and Greene, for example, are among those who it difficult to reconcile seeing a man who lived to be in his 40s and fathered children being designated the “first female” four-star admiral in the Public Health Service.
