First Lady Jill Biden bizarrely claimed on Tuesday morning that she hasn’t even talked to her husband Joe about whether or not he plans to run for reelection in 2024.

While appearing on NBC’s the “Today” show, Jill was asked if she and Joe had talked about 2024, to which she replied, “Not yet.”

“We’ve been a little bit too busy – not yet,” she said with a laugh. “But I’m sure it’ll be a discussion.”

Daily Mail reported that Jill brushed off questions about how taxing the campaign trail can be by praising her husband.

“Look at all Joe has done,” she said. “He has kept true to what he said he would do. And so I think he just needs to keep going.”

Unfortunately for her, her husband not formally declaring what he plans to do in 2024 has garnered him an ethics complaint from watchdog group Americans for Public Trust.

“Their discussion(s) on the topic are irrelevant. Joe Biden and his proxies have already clearly stated that he’s running in 2024,” the group said in response to Jill’s interview. “He is now required by law to file – his failure to do so is why we have filed an FEC complaint against him.”

In an interview in December of last year, Joe claimed he is confident going into a potential rematch with Donald Trump in 2024.

“Why would I not run against Donald Trump as the nominee?” he said at the time. “That would increase the prospect of running.”

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre recently told reporters that Joe plans to run again, but not all Democrats would support this. Many are concerned about his age, as he’d be 81 on Election Day in 2024.

Vice President Kamala Harris, however, said last Sunday that she would “proudly” run with Joe again in 2024.

“Listen, the president has been very clear that he intends to run again,” she said. “And if he does, I will be running with him proudly.”

In her interview this morning, Jill also talked about her 2021 meeting with Queen Elizabeth, who died last week at the age of 96.

“What I loved about her was that she was really independent. We went up to her living room and they said to us, ‘Don’t talk about family,'” Jill recalled. “So we went up and so the first thing she starts with is family. So Prince Philip had just died recently, and I think she knows Joe. I think she just wanted to talk about her husband.”

“She poured tea, and Joe and I said, ‘Oh, let us help you,'” Jill continued, to which the Queen replied, ‘No.'”

“‘You sit there, and I’ll get the tea,'” the Queen then said, according to Jill. “And then she had such curiosity. She wanted to know all about American politics, what was happening. So she put us at ease.”

While Jill’s tribute to the Queen was nice enough, it’s preposterous that she expects us to believe that she and her husband have never even talked about their 2024 plans. Once again, a Democrat is assuming that the American people are far dumber than we really are.
