According to a recent story published by Rolling Stone, Donald Trump is poised to run for president again in 2024.
“A former senior member at the Republican National Committee tells Rolling Stone that Trump has told at least three people he’s eaten with in recent months that he plans to run in 2024.”
According to the story, “I have three people who have had dinner with him in the last couple of months,” according to the former RNC staffer. “His present ambitions, according to all three, are to run for president in 2024.”
“Whether he does or not is another matter,” the person added. “We still have three years left. But that’s what he’s telling people.”
The 45th president apparently announced his intention to run again at a series of meals.
“The first two dinners, according to the ex-RNC officer, took place in late spring. However, the third supper took place during the last two weeks, according to the official. The insider continues, “The first two dinner guests came away from their chats persuaded Trump was serious and running.” The third said he left the dinner “not 100% convinced Trump wants to run, but he likes being in the conversation, he wants to freeze the field, and he wants his name out there,” according to the ex-R.N.C. official.
Trump was recently asked while on Hannity if he had made up his mind yet about running.
Hannity said, “You’re not going to answer, but I have to ask…Without giving the answer … have you made up your mind?”
To which President Trump simply responded, “yes.”
