The First Lady Jill Biden attempts to decorate the White House in hearts for Valentine’s Day earlier this week have since backfired on her, as her decorations have since been widely slammed as “tacky” by internet users.

The Sun reported that Jill placed a giant heart on the North Lawn of the White House, and she decorated the East Wing with hearts made by a second grade class. These hearts had words like “hope”, “kindness”, “peace” and “love” emblazoned on them.
Jill herself signed the “healing” heart with “Love, Jill,” according to The Associated Press.

Unfortunately for Jill, however, internet users were not fans of her decoration skills for this holiday.
“Jill Biden has one ‘est’ she can cling to – she is the tackiest First Lady ever,” one social media user commented.
Another user shared a meme that showed hearts containing words like “China”, “division” and “sleepy,” clear digs at the Joe Biden administration.
Some users mocked President Biden’s mental state, which many feel is on the decline, by joking that he made the hearts themselves. Others branded Jill’s Valentine’s Day display as being “lame and tasteless.”
Additional social media users had similar comments:
Ugh…embarrassingly tacky. 🤮

Look up the word "TACKY" in the dictionary, and immediately, Jill Biden's picture appears.

This comes months after Jill’s White House Christmas tree was ripped as “ugly” and “boring” by internet users.

“Where are the colors? Looks like a giant tree with night lights over it,” said one user, with another bluntly saying “That tree is ugly.”

Other users compared Jill’s Christmas decorating skills to that of her predecessor Melania Trump.
“Melania brought class to the WH,” one user said, with a second saying, “I know I am going to miss Melania’s stunning decorating skills.”
Despite this, Jill tried to defend her tree.
“It’s beautiful—it’s magnificent, actually,” she said of the tree, according to Newsweek.
Jill has claimed that she took on a “healing role” during her first year as First Lady.
“I didn’t kind of expect, which was like a healing role, because we’ve faced so much as a nation,” she said last month, according to The New York Post.
“I would want to know that my president and first lady cared about me,” Jill added, referring to what she would want in a president and First Lady. “I think that’s an important part of what I do. I mean, just helping people through the tough times.”
Unfortunately for Jill, it seems like most Americans are not getting that message, as her husband’s approval ratings have been abysmally low since he took office. With her White House decorating skills being both mocked and panned as well, it seems that she could be headed that way in terms of unpopularity with the American people as well.
